He said during the first conference for food industry exporters that Egypt’s exports of food industries rose to about $3.7 billion during the period from January to July 2024, compared to $3 billion during the same period in 2023, with an increase in exports of $700 million.
The minister emphasized that boosting exports, particularly of goods, is central to the government’s strategy for achieving sustainable economic growth

Exports in 2023 have been generally positive, with an average growth of 8% compared to 2022, with the highest growth reported in July 2023 with an uptick of 63% year-on-year (YoY)
